Evaluation of the performance of GNSS-based velocity estimation algorithms

Abstract Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) based velocity estimation is one of the most cost-effective and widely used methods in determining geodesy transport applications. Highly accurate reliable measurements can be obtained by exploiting raw Doppler, carrier phase, pseudorange with a GNSS receiver. There are several approaches to GNSS-based determination. This paper investigates characteristics which currently popular applicable observations Positioning (GPS), BeiDou (BDS), their combination (GPS/BDS). Specifically, it evaluates performance estimated on Raw Doppler method, Time-Differenced Pseudorange Carrier Phase Double-Differenced both static dynamic modes open urban scenarios.
